Decommissioned in 2020. Vessel was deconstructed. Frederick George Creed (1871-1957) was born in Mill Village, Nova Scotia, and worked in the telecommunications field where he creating a machine that could transfer typed material to telegraph. In 1938, Creed presented his idea for the Small Waterplane Area Twin Hull (SWATH) vessel, which was revolutionary whereby it maximized the vessels stability, even in high seas and at high speed
